When the news of Ayodele Daniel Dada, the 5.00 CGPA University of Lagos graduate went viral, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila of the House of Representatives made a call for members of the lower chamber to reward him for his academic excellence.
However, Dada claims that rewards promised to him by some companies haven’t been given to him yet. This was made on Rubbin Minds, a talk show hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on Channels Television. “No, I haven’t, at all,”, the Unilag graduate answered when questioned if he had received gifts from Sujimoto which promised him an apartment.
Dada became popular after breaking record to become the best graduating student in the University of Lagos, in over fifty years. Dada was a recipient of UNILAG VC’s prize, UNILAG Dean’s prize, UNILAG Parent Forum prize, Tony Elumelu Legacy prize, the UNILAG Alumni Association prize, the late Eni Njoku Academic prize, Prof Tolu Odugbemu prize, and the late Prof. Adetokunbo Sofoluwe prize
