“Ruggie” is a pressure sensitive alarm clock that forces you to get out of bed.
The alarm comes with no snooze option and doesn’t stop ringing until you stand on it with both feet for three seconds.
It will not be fooled by simply kicking one foot out onto touch the mat, either.
The product has been launched on Kickstarter and has already more than doubled its $36,000 target with 51 days to go. The alarm clock rugs currently cost $59, but will retail at $99 once launched.
