Manchester United fans panic over David De Gea picture

David De Gea caused an outbreak of fevered panic on Monday morning to United fans when he changed his official Facebook and Twitter profile photos.
The central cause of the panic was De Gea's decision to use an illustrated image of himself in action that saw the United crest on his shirt removed. Picture above..
While most right-minded people simply dismissed it as a copyright issue (all the branding is removed), a smattering of United fans spiralled into mild meltdown at the perceived subliminal message on display.
