Being able to rent a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom in a desirable London postcode for just £95 a week might sound too good to be true for anyone familiar with the city’s soaring rents. But a landlord in London has managed to offer the market precisely that.
Advertised online, the flat is billed as “a spacious single studio with kitchenette and own shower, pine furniture and double bed.”
The property is situated on the sought-after Ravenscroft Road in Chiswick and is described as: “home to a wealth of fabulous amenities, including Harvey Nichols, Waitrose, Caffe Nero” as well as boasting: “plenty of spacious green areas close by.”
The flat is described online as a "spacious single studio"
However, there’s just one catch; rather than three different rooms, all three are crammed in one room. The kitchen and shower are installed right beside the bed.
The flat has a novel solution to London's overcrowded property market
The bedroom-kitchen-bathroom rolled into one is either an ingenious solution to having limited space or a parody of London’s housing market, depending on your point of view.
The shower, bedroom and kitchen are all crammed in to the one room
The advert, posted on Gumtree on Wednesday, says that the flat has been unoccupied since the beginning of November.
