Robbers invade bank in Lekki, four persons killed

Daily post reported that the branch office of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB), located in Plot B, Waterfront Plaza, Admiralty Way, Lekki, was on Thursday evening attacked by a gang of armed robbers who killed four persons.

Eyewitnesses say the four killed were three police escorts of a passing civilian Coaster bus and a fish seller.

The robbers, who were no fewer than 12 in number, arrived the bank premises few minutes before 5pm in a boat, and immediately began firing gunshots into the air in an operation that took about 30 minutes.
