The Transport Officer of the Kogi State Government, Laraba Okedi, in a statement on Wednesday in Lokoja said the order also affected other categories of political appointees, including members of boards and agencies.
Apart from the vehicles, Okedi said the former political office holders should immediately return other government property in their possession.
Sources told newsmen that many former commissioners, special advisers and board chairmen were yet to return their official vehicles.
The new Governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, had on January 30 dissolved boards of all parastatal agencies and other government establishments in the state.
