A tweet by the media aide to Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, Lere Olayinka, a warrant of arrest has been issued for former PDP secretary in Ekiti state, Tope Aluko, a former Peoples Democratic Party PDP. Aluko who made made allegations that Governor, Fayose of Ekiti was rigged in, while speaking on ChannelsTV on Sunday Janaury 31st. He alleged that former president Goodluck Jonathan gave Fayose $35 million to rig the election.
The Ekiki state Governor had asked the Federal government to charge Aluko for perjury because, Aluko had at a state election tribunal last year, testified that the election was free and fair, hence the perjury against him now
