Not every time you will appreciate the Whatsapp read receipt. At times you will want to read whatsapp message sent to you and leaving the sender uninformed. The blue double tick from whatsapp won't let you... Here is the trick and leave your sender with the grey double tick message, informing the sender you have not read the message, which you have read.
Just goto to Airplane mode on your phone and read the message, after reading the message then off the Airplane mode. The sender will see the grey tick noting you haven't read the message.
