A fire broke out on Sunday evening at Foxconn Technology Group’s main iPhone manufacturing complex in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou, though there were no reported casualties or production impact, the company said.
Local authorities said they are investigating the cause of the fire. The fire began in the central air conditioning fan and ventilation ducts on the roof of Foxconn Zhengzhou's plant, according to a statement on Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone.
