SCOTCH AND YOKE MECHANISM

This can be used to convert rotational motion to oscillatory linear motion. It is one of the kinematic inversions of mechanism of type revolute, revolute, prismatic, prismatic series of joints.

It is very compact and can be used in high torque transmission applications.
