Ivan Rakitic, Luis Suarez and Neymar scored for Barcelona, as they overcame Juventus 3-1 at the Berlin Stadium, to win the UEFA Champions League.
Both teams came into the game looking to win their third trophy of this season.
Barcelona had won the Spanish League and Copa del Rey, while Juventus clinched Serie A for the third successive campaign and the Coppa Italia.
However, it was Luis Enrique’s side who took the lead as early as the 4th minute.
Neymar and Jordi Alba linked up well on the left, before Andres Iniesta squared the ball for Rakitic to tap in. They failed to add more goals in the first half to stamp their unquestionable superiority.
Early in the second half, former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, found himself free in space to equalize for Juventus. 10 minutes later, Suarez pounced to score a similar goal. Neymar’s header went in off his hand and was chalked off, but the Brazilian had the final word, as he fired home with the last kick of the match.
