Barcelona FC confirms interest in Pogba

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu, has made it known that the club is interested in signing Juventus, young midfielder, Paul Pogba. Pogba who featured in his team 3-1 loss against Bercelona at the Champions League final  on Saturday.

“It is true that Pogba is a leading target of ours and obviously we are interested, but I can’t say anything more,” he told Telefoot.
“We are forbidden to recruit players until January, so I can’t talk about it”.
Barca sporting director Ariedo Braida was pictured talking to Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola ahead of the final in Berlin, but Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta insisted that the player is going nowhere.
“His position is different. Pogba has a multi-season contract, is growing year on year and we need quality players to improve the team.

“In this case, the desire of the club is predominant over that of the player. Our rapport is excellent, we don’t want to sell him, there are no negotiations and we have no intention of starting any”, he said.
