‘Aregbesola, a national asset’?

So as House of Assembly member elect, has that made you an element of sycophancy? Praising a Governor that has refused to pay workers for more than five months, Abeg wey your conscience? Mtcheww.

Osun State House of Assembly member-elect representing Obokun constituency, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has advised political leaders in the state to emulate the qualities of the Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, he made the statement at the 58th birthday of the Governor.

The statement read, “Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is a remarkable, distinguished and outstanding personality whose foray into politics has brought a positive paradigm shift to social and political governance. His birthday is a celebration of the sustenance of democracy in Nigeria and advancement of social good.

“No doubt, as he marks his 58th birthday, I know he will have a sense of fulfilment that several people who passed through him, including my humble self, are doing. Aregbesola has dedicated his life to service to humanity and this has actually earned him a lot of respect locally, nationally and internationally.

“His 58th birthday is highly remarkable because for the first time in Nigeria, the progressive fold which he belongs to is taking over the government at the centre. As he celebrates, what will be his joy as he always says is that Nigerians will now begin to experience positive change in all aspects of life.”

Oyintiloye expressed optimism that under the leadership of Aregbesola, Osun would overcome its current challenges. He called on the governor to continue to strengthen his resolve to better the lot of the people, adding that this would earn him more respect.
