Okorocha, Ikpeazu win Imo, and Abia governorship rerun resp.

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and the gubernatorial candidate of the APC was yesterday re-elected in the Imo governorship rerun election, scoring 416,996 votes to defeat his closest rival, Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who polled 320,705 votes.
Also in Abia State where rerun election also held yesterday, the PDP governorship candidate, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, won by beating Dr. Alex Otti of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, with 264,713 votes to 180,882.
