We all know this sci-fi action movie set the standard for the movie industry as regards to visual and special effects and one thing you didn't know was that the role of Neo was first offered to Will Smith but rejected it due it's complex script.
Nicolas Cage also turned down the part because of family obligations while Brad Pitt and Val Kilmer also declined, then Keenu Reeves got the role.
