Namadi Sambo donates to 95 clubs

No fewer than 95 clubs in Sokoto have benefitted from Vice President Namadi Sambo’s donation I of 200 soccer balls and pairs of jersies.

The donations, which have been described as “first class” by the coach of one of the benefiting clubs, was delivered to the state by Sambo’s Sokoto laison officer, Yohannah Allahmagani.

The items which were received by the state deputy coordinator for the Jonathan/Sambo Campaign Organisation,Alhaji Ibrahim Gidado, was further distributed at the PDP zonal rally held at the Giginya Stadium within the metropolis.

While distributing the donations to benefiting clubs from across the 23 local governments of the state, PDP governorship candidate, Senator Abdullah Wali, assured that the gesture was worthwhile, especially, within the context of the global shift of interest to sports.
