Luis Enrique’s team beats Real Sociedad 2-0 thanks to goals from Neymar and Pedro, to strengthen their position at the top.
Paco Alcacer and Javi Fuego gave Valencia an early two-goal lead, before Cristiano Ronaldo missed a first-half penalty. Pepe thumped in a commanding header, before Isco rescued a point.
“This makes it much more difficult, but we will still continue. We have two games to play, will try and win both,” he said
“The result is not good, [but] the match was the opposite. We had many chances to score. The team fought until the end and deserved to win, but sometimes that is not enough.
“We are all disappointed. This is what the team feels in this moment. We are paying for small errors. The only clear error that we made was with the dead ball.”
