Liverpool have been treated to a series of flawless displays from the No.10 in recent weeks, the playmaker heartily accepting a chief attacking role for the Reds.
Determined to improve his scoring ratio, Coutinho has almost been conducting his own personal Goal of the Season contest - much to the team and fans' delight.
A thunderous winner at Bolton Wanderers preceded perhaps an even better long-ranger past Southampton, before a stunning decider floored Manchester City.
It was therefore no surprise today that Coutinho was included in the 23-man Brazil selection confirmed by coach Dunga for two friendlies later this month.
"Every time I see my name on the Brazil list I feel very happy," the 22-year-old exclusively told Liverpoolfc.com shortly after the announcement.
"It is always as if it were happening for the first time. Liverpool have been playing very well and it has been a very happy moment for me."
